Look at Our Little Monkey!

The first few minutes in the costume were good. She liked her "feet" and she liked the attention she got while she was dressed up.

(Notice the twisty tail and the banana for a snack.)

(Brooke had reached meltdown mode. She had obviously been cute for long enough.)

To say that taking a posed picture was hard would be an understatement.
(Please notice Brooke's complete refusal to stay in her costume.)

Brooke's Big, Exciting Summer!!!

Brooke had a very busy summer. She learned that she loves baby dolls. She likes to carry them all over, hum to them and rock them in Grandma B's baby cradle.

She learned to look incredibly pathetic and throw temper tantrums.

She learned how to be VERY cool in school.

But also how to be the class clown.
(Shout out to Grandpa Fagyal for the glasses)

All in all, she had a great summer and is now into EVERYTHING!!!
(And loving it!)

BROOKE'S FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!

When I was growing up, my mom decorated every birthday cake of mine until I was 15 years old. I wanted to give Brooke those same memories, so above is my feeble attempt at decorating a Hello Kitty Cake.
(disclaimer: I was working with some very runny icing and I had help from my mom.)

Brooke Goes Biking

Since Dad likes to bike so much, we decided to get a trailer so the whole family can go out and enjoy the weather this summer. So this is Brooke trying out her new "chariot" (as Paul likes to call it).

Brooke isn't a huge fan of her new helmet so we have taken to trying to get her to wear it around the house so she would get used to it. Needless to say, it isn't working very well!

Where in the World is Brooke?

FLORIDA!!!!!!!!

Brooke enjoyed seeing the beach for the first time. She especially liked it when the waves would run over her feet and make them sink into the sand.

Brooke spent a lot of time floating around in her turtle, soaking up the rays.
